This steam trap is to maintain a balanced pressure of diaphragm capsule designed for condensate loads below steam temperature usually associated with instrument tracing applications..
1. Small, simple structure, easy installation, handling and maintenance
2. It has excellent condensed water drainage ability.
3. The excellent air drainage ability prevents air-binding.
4. No adjustment needed for pressure changes.
5. Special structure of capsule gives durability against water hammer or high temperature steam.

■ Installation
Tracer line must be the same direction as the steam flow. For 10 mm tracer, within 18mm, and for bigger tracer, within 45 mm. The steam trap is installed in a vertical line with the inlet at the top and the outlet at the bottom to ensure the capsule in a horizontal plane allowing self-draining.
■ Cautions at Sizing
1. At sizing, ensure to select the steam trap size to drain condense loads 3 times the expected safety factor.
2. In case of any back pressure at the steam trap outlet side, choose the trap size by the pressure differential between inlet and outlet pressure.

5. Types of Capsule: classified by operation temperature as following.
A Type- Operate at 5℃ less temperature than saturated vapor temperature.
B Type- Operate at 10℃ less temperature than saturated vapor temperature.
C Type- Operate at 28℃ less temperature than saturated vapor temperature.
*B type is a standard product, A and C are available upon request.

■ Guidance of Capacity
* The above capacity is based on continue capacity.
* You may select a trap which has an enough capacity at least 3 to 4 times bigger than the required flow in consideration of an initial load and the system pressure’s fluctuation.
